With a standardized GDPR methodology, we see a future where it’s possible for multiple plugin and service providers to target the specifics of the regulation, making it easier for website administrators accommodate the users’ needs.

  • Easy data portability, so that users can request, obtain and transfer data.
  • Provide a cross-plugin breach notification service on a per site or even or per plugin, to allow plugin owners as well as website administrators to notify users of potential risks.

The possibilities of services and solutions are vast but do require the initial standardized approach to a meta description of any plugins use of personal data.
